Need a change of scene or break from a screen? You may not have picked up a paintbrush since school or be a regular arty type- don't worry, Creative Coffee is suitable for all. It provides a supportive, safe, environment just to have a go, whilst enjoying a coffee, cake and natter at the same time!
Each week we will have a go at exploring a new artistic idea or technique. There will be initial input from professional art teacher, Sarah, who will explain and demonstrate, then be on hand to advise and guide. Over the weeks we will explore drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. Every week will be different, so you can dip in and out of sessions as it suits you.
All materials will be provided- you may wish to bring an apron as some materials may stain your clothes.
Monday sessions run from 12.45-2.45pm
Wednesday sessions run from 1.30-3.30pm
Please note:
Monday and Wednesday sessions are the same, so you can mix and match according to your weekly commitments

Fancy creating your own Festive Wreath?
Join us in a low key, small group workshop at Gym and Jollies. The cafe will be open just for us, sharing warming festive drinks and snacks to keep us going!
We provide everything you need to make your wreath, although a pair of secateurs would be handy.
We know some people have been put off wreath making in the past, due to thorny, scratchy foliage and wreaths that do not last. Ours use non spiky, user friendly greenery and sustainably sourced moss to create a base that ensures your wreath will remain fresh until Christmas.
We allow three hours, so that your wreath making is not rushed; you may take a little less time- we are very easy going! However, the room will smell so aromatically Christmassy, you may be reluctant to leave...

Feedback tells us there are lots of you out there who would like to come to Creative Coffee, but you have commitments that mean you can't make it. If that is the case, we can arrange another session at a time and venue that suits you. Workshops are also suitable for parties, hen weekends and groups.
Contact us to discuss a bespoke session, daytime or evening. A venue can be provided in Leckhampton for up to 15 people, or we can travel to a location of your choice.
Sessions can be designed for children, adults or a combination of both. The materials and subject of the session can be chosen by you or designed by us. Have a look at our gallery and flyers for inspiration. All materials will be provided- you may wish to bring aprons as some materials may stain your clothes.
Each workshop lasts between 1.5-2 hours and costs between £15 and £25 a head, (with a minimum spend of £150) dependent on materials and location.
