Sarah has over 25 years experience teaching both children and adults, both at primary and degree level and is passionate about nurturing each student's creative soul. She also works alongside teachers in primary education to develop and improve their own teaching of art. Students and teachers alike find her teaching uplifting, inspiring and supportive. Sarah strives for quality and believes everyone is an artist at heart.
Ofsted described her art leadership as dynamic and have used her practice as an example for others. Her articles on primary art education have been published by NSEAD. She gained a grant for teachers from Goldsmiths Company to develop her own art practice; which she used to develop printmaking techniques that could be adapted for children, adults and her own artwork; which can be found on instagram at sarahbakerprintmaker.
Sarah has a fantastic team who work alongside her. All have experience of working with children, are as passionate as her and most are qualified teaching assistants. All are DBS checked.
